DESCRIPTION
The David H. Peterson is a 64' aluminum catamaran with a 24' beam; 45 gross tons. For the safety of the vessel and life at sea, (2) marine generators are required in order to safely provide a backup system should a generator fail while underway. The inability of a generator will leave the vessel inoperable and in danger of damage or grounding putting personnel at danger. The USGS requires services to replace a Northern Lights 25kw marine generator (same or equal) in the port engine room.
Offerors are to include a technical description of the services being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Evaluation Factors as seen in the Attachment. This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary.
