About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation has issued a Special Notice for a Universal DAQ System, posted on November 17, 2025, with a response deadline of November 26, 2025. This is a market research initiative conducted in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10 to assess the availability of qualified sources for the proposed acquisition. The notice is not a formal solicitation or commitment by the government and does not constitute a Request for Quote or Proposal. The government will use responses to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy and reserves the right to reject any submissions in whole or in part. The classified NAICS category is Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals, with a PSC classification for Time Measuring Instruments.

The Universal DAQ System represents a data acquisition platform that the Bureau of Reclamation intends to procure for laboratory and field testing applications. Interested contractors must submit capability statements and expressions of interest via email describing their ability to meet the detailed specifications provided, which call for specific DEWESoft hardware components including a SIRIUS-R8-SYSTEM data acquisition unit with modular expansion capabilities and high-precision measurement instrumentation. All submissions must be made at no cost or obligation to the government, and prospective contractors are required to maintain current registration and electronic representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM) in accordance with FAR requirements. The government will not be obligated to notify respondents of the market research results, and responses will not be acknowledged or answered. Contractors meeting the technical specifications and maintaining SAM compliance are eligible to participate in this market research phase.

All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results in any manner. This is not a formal solicitation.
