About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps seeks commercial Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) live-fire training services for its personnel to meet operational, safety, and qualification mandates, with proposals due August 14. The procurement is a total small business set-aside and will result in a single-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year ordering period.
The training requirement addresses a gap created by planning and construction of new military facilities; historically, ARFF training has been conducted organically at Marine Corps facilities. The NAICS code is 611519, Other Technical and Trade Schools, and the PSC is U099, Education/Training—Other. This is a competitive acquisition; the source does not specify place of performance, evaluation criteria weighting, or contract value.

Update #3 · Latest ·
This amendment extends the due date for quote submissions. The United States Marine Corps (USMC) has a requirement to provide its Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) personnel with realistic, hands-on, live-fire training to meet operational, safety, and qualification mandates. Historically, this training has been conducted organically at military facilities; however, a training gap during planning and construction of new facilities drives the need for commercial offsite training procured on an ad hoc basis. This competitive, small business set-aside acquisition will result in the award of a single award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five (5) year ordering period.
