Added: Nov 16, 2015 12:25 pm Modified: Nov 16, 2015 12:33 pmTrack Changes The ATK team shall, on a best efforts basis, generate an engineered composite core design that has a justifiable expectation of meeting the target capabilities listed in the NRA. The basis for the expectation shall be rooted in engineering analyses that apply first principles of engineering mechanics and available materials information to evaluate core designs. These analyses, information, and related calculations shall be documented and delivered to NASA.

Added: Nov 16, 2015 12:25 pm The ultimate objective is to replace the existing honeycomb-composite sandwich structures in aerospace vehicles and structures with new ultra-lightweight sandwiches fabricated with novel nanolattice cores grown by the Contractors LaserLattice technologies.
