About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure executive education services through a sole source award to The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York. The requirement involves enrollment of three Navy captains in Columbia's Executive Development Program titled "Leading Into The Future," which will provide professional development training for NAVSUP headquarters personnel. This combined synopsis/solicitation follows FAR 12.6 format for commercial items and constitutes the only solicitation document, with quotes being requested rather than formal proposals. This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designation and is structured as a sole source award specifically naming Columbia University as the intended contractor. The contract involves three separate line items, each covering attendance for one captain (Captain Iliff, Captain Jones, and Captain Lieng) at the same executive development program. The program duration spans from September 29, 2025, to October 10, 2025, representing a twelve-day executive education course. Performance will take place at the contractor's site, meaning Columbia University's facilities in New York City. The small business size standard for this NAICS category is $34.5 million, though specific contract values or budget ranges were not disclosed in the solicitation notice.
