SUBJECT:  U.S. Navy Naval Station Mayport - Maintenance Dredging, Duval County, Florida

SOLICITATION NUMBER:  W912EP24B0006

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract. The project work consists of maintenance dredging of portions of the U.S. Naval Station Mayport including Bar Cut-3. Mayport Entrance Channel, Turning Basin, Destroyer Basin, and Small Boat Basin.  Excavated material will be transported to and disposed in the Jacksonville Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS) Release Zone “A”.  Incidental work includes turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and sea turtle trawling.

The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 17 January 2025 and bids will be due on or about 18 February 2024. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.

A pre-bid conference/site visit will take place and the date will be posted with the solicitation. Interested contractors are highly encouraged to attend and must follow conference registration and access requirements shown in the solicitation.

The Small Business Standard is $37 million.
