About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District is soliciting a full-service lease for boat slip storage space in Sacramento, California, as their current lease is expiring and they are evaluating economically advantageous alternatives. The agency requires exclusive use of a boat slip measuring between 40-60 feet of rentable space, located within specific boundaries defined by Garden Highway to the north, Interstate 5 to the east, Sacramento River/American River to the south, and Interstate 80 to the west. The boat slip must be secured and lit according to specified security requirements, with the lease structured as a 1-year firm term followed by four one-year option periods, including utilities in the full-service pricing. The government will consider relocation costs including physical move expenses, tenant improvements, telecommunications infrastructure, and agency downtime when making their selection decision. Interested respondents must submit their proposals electronically by 5:00 PM PDT on July 5, 2025, to Geneva Lee at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, with building representatives required to provide exclusivity agreements, representation letters, and listing contracts.

This solicitation does not utilize any set-aside designations and no current incumbent contractor is identified in the notice. While no specific award values or budget ranges are disclosed, the government's evaluation will heavily weigh economic advantages and cost considerations related to potential relocation expenses. The contract involves a single boat slip with specific dimensional requirements and a total potential performance period of five years when including all option periods. Performance will take place in Sacramento, California, specifically within the defined geographical boundaries along the Sacramento and American Rivers, with the government clarifying they will also consider lease arrangements other than full-service terms as long as government requirements are met.

Notice text
