About this opportunity

The U.S. Department of State, specifically the Consulate General in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is seeking a contractor to perform comprehensive CGR Outdoor Walkway Repair at the Consul General's residence. The project involves repairing and improving a stone walkway path, which includes removing and relocating existing Roman Travertine Marble stone pavers, filling areas with topsoil and grass, constructing a ramp, relocating a stainless-steel handrail, and installing new grass along walkway edges. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and submit electronic quotations to ProcurementSP@state.gov by July 7, 2025, following specific file format requirements (MS-Word, MS-Excel, or PDF, not exceeding 30MB). A pre-quotation conference is scheduled for June 24, 2025, at 10am local time, with interested parties required to contact ProcurementSP@state.gov by June 23 for entry arrangements. The U.S. Government intends to award the contract to the responsible company submitting the lowest-priced acceptable offer, potentially without further discussions.

The solicitation is not set aside for any specific business category and will be conducted as an unrestricted procurement under the Landscaping Services NAICS category (561730). The project encompasses approximately 90 square meters of walkway and will utilize existing and potentially additional Roman Travertine Marble stone pavers, supplemented by materials such as washed sand, stone chips, PVC border grass limiter, topsoil, and various grass varieties. The place of performance is located in Santo Amaro, São Paulo, Brazil, with a specific zip code of 04709. While no specific award value is mentioned, the procurement method suggests this is a relatively focused, site-specific repair and landscaping project. The contract will require precise installation techniques, including minimal joints between pavers, manual soil compaction, and careful cutting and alignment of stone pavers. Contractors should be prepared to execute a detailed, quality-focused renovation of the outdoor walkway area at the U.S. Consulate General's residence.
