About this opportunity

The National Guard Bureau seeks to award a sole-source contract to Moseley Architects to provide Type C architect-engineer services during construction of a visitor's center at the Herbert R. Temple Jr. Army National Guard Readiness Center in Arlington, Virginia. The services include responding to contractor questions, reviewing submittals, attending meetings, inspecting construction progress, and creating as-built drawings to ensure the construction contractor adheres to the design. The justification cites Moseley Architects' existing knowledge of the project design from a previous $240,423 contract as rationale for a sole-source award. The pre-solicitation notice due date for questions is August 26, 2021.

The justification estimates the contract value at $XX,XXX and a period of performance of 425 days after the September 2021 notice to proceed is issued for the related construction contract. There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. Moseley Architects (DUNS 058907353) is identified as the potential incumbent due to their prior work designing the project. The NAICS code for the services is 541310 and PSC code R425. The justification recommends awarding the sole-source contract to Moseley Architects to provide the Type C architect-engineer services.
