About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base, issued a Notice of Intent to Single Source on February 10, 2026, for suicide intervention training services. The notice announces the government's intention to award a firm-fixed price contract exclusively to Livingworks Education USA Inc., which holds proprietary rights to the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training program (ASIST). This special notice is published under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation provisions for simplified acquisition procedures and commercial procurement practices. The training requirement falls under the Education and Training services category, classified under NAICS code 611699 for miscellaneous instruction. This is not a request for quotations, and no formal solicitation will be issued unless the government determines that competition would be advantageous.

The primary objective is to procure training-of-trainers (T4T) services using ASIST, an evidence-based suicide intervention program that aligns with Department of the Air Force Integrated Resilience training procedures and maintains continuity with previously trained personnel. Interested contractors have until February 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST to submit written evidence demonstrating that competition would be advantageous to the government and proving their ability to deliver evidence-based suicide intervention training meeting DAF standards. All responsible sources may respond, provided they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award. Prospective contractors must submit responses in writing to SrA Nathaniel Cordova and provide sufficient detail demonstrating compliance capability with the requirement specifications. If no affirmative written response is received by the deadline, the government will proceed with an award to Livingworks Education USA Inc., with the final decision to compete or single source remaining solely within government discretion.
