About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Redstone Arsenal (ACC Redstone) is seeking a Two Step, Sealed Bid procurement for a Test Set, Radio AN/PRM-37 through a federal contract opportunity. The solicitation follows a two-step process where Step I involves a Request for Technical Proposal in accordance with Purchase Description TEMOD-23-02, Revision B, and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. The contract will be structured as a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement with an initial five-year term and potential two-year extension. Proposals are due by June 23, 2025, and will be evaluated based on technical compliance with the specified requirements. The government will assess bidders' ability to meet the detailed technical specifications outlined in the purchase description.
This contract opportunity is specifically set aside for small businesses in the Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals sector (NAICS 334515). The procurement anticipates acquiring between 20 and 10,500 units of the radio test set over the contract's duration, with the government not obligated to purchase beyond the minimum quantity. The place of performance is located at 3651 Army TACMS Dr in Huntsville, Alabama. While the exact award value is not specified, the contract's structure suggests significant potential for the selected vendor, with flexibility in delivery quantities. The solicitation indicates a comprehensive procurement approach that allows the government substantial discretion in managing the contract's implementation and potential future extensions.
