About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is seeking to procure 62 stainless steel #4 Bearing Air Supply Manifold units (NSN: 4710-01-478-3721NZ, P/N: 4084987) that remove debris from the 7th stage bleed before entering the #4 bearing compartment buffer chamber. This is a firm fixed-price procurement for spare parts with specific dimensional requirements including 14.1 inches in length, 2.65 inches in width, 2.25 inches in height, and weighing 3.5 pounds each. Critical qualification requirements mandate that sources must be pre-approved prior to the solicitation closing date of July 14, 2025, and newly approved sources are subject to First Article Testing. The evaluation criteria include quality assurance provisions requiring ISO 9001:2015 certification and identification as a Critical Safety Item (CSI), with inspection and acceptance at the source. The solicitation was issued on June 13, 2025, with a response deadline of July 14, 2025, and required delivery by June 28, 2027.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all responsible sources that meet the qualification requirements. The previous contract FA8121-24-F-0225 was awarded on July 18, 2024, indicating a historical procurement pattern for this item. While no specific award value or budget range is provided in the solicitation, the contract requires delivery of 62 units within approximately two years of award. The place of performance is designated as DLA Distribution Depot Oklahoma, with contract administration through Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. An important consideration is that funds are not currently available for this effort, and the government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation before or after the closing date, with no obligation to reimburse offerors for any costs incurred.
