About this opportunity

The Defense Health Agency is issuing a Request for Information to identify sources capable of supplying TSI Q-Trak XP indoor air quality monitors for Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, with responses due by June 11, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. EST.

NMCP's Industrial Hygiene Department seeks to replace seven outdated monitors at 620 John Paul Jones Circle, Portsmouth, Virginia. The requirement specifies TSI 7585 Q-Trak XP base units paired with a Multi-Sensor IAQ Module capable of simultaneous measurement of particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10), temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and up to six gases including TVOC, chlorine, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, formaldehyde, and carbon dioxide. Equipment must also calculate wet bulb, dew point, and percentage of outside air mixing.

The required ancillary sensors include seven TVOC sensors across two ranges, seven carbon monoxide sensors, and two each of chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, and formaldehyde sensors. Equipment must offer data logging with adjustable intervals from one second to one hour, field-swappable sensors, field calibration capability, and data analysis software for download and report generation.

Responses should include a cover page with organizational information and CAGE code, plus a capabilities statement addressing understanding of the equipment, existing contract vehicles, and commercial availability terms. Submit electronically in Microsoft Word or PDF to Lisa Wilk at lisa.c.wilk.civ@health.mil. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only; it does not constitute a solicitation and does not commit the Government to award a contract.
