About this opportunity
The Department of Defense (DoD) Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate has issued a Special Notice for Support Services for the Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies (TSC). The TSC is a DoD Regional Center established by Congressional Authorization and Appropriation, and its mission areas include executive education, research & analysis, and engagement & outreach across the Arctic regions.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to announce the DoD's intent to award a sole source contract to ACT1 Federal LLC to provide the required support services for the TSC. The period of performance will be from September 30, 2024 through September 29, 2026, with a 12-month base period and a 12-month option period. This sole source award is being made under FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) as a logical follow-on to an existing contract. Interested parties may respond to this notice by September 23, 2024 to demonstrate their capability to provide the required services, which fall under the NAICS code 541990 - All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, and the PSC code R408 - Professional Services - Program Management/Support Services.

The Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies is the 6th Department of Defense Regional Center established via Congressional Authorization and Appropriation via the Fiscal Year 2021 National Defense Authorization Act and approved by Secretary of Defense Austin on 9 June 2021.
The Ted Stevens Center functions in three main mission areas: executive education, research & analysis, and engagement & outreach, and conducts its mission principally across the Arctic regions of North America, Atlantic and Europe.
The TSC builds strong bilateral relationships between the United States and countries in the Arctic region as well as countries outside of the Arctic region that maintain Arctic interests, and in particular, interests oriented broadly to security matters.
