About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Fort Worth is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive water system monitoring services at Benbrook Lake in the Trinity Region. The contractor must supply all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other necessary items to perform water system monitoring, drinking water sample collection, swim beach monitoring, and subsequent laboratory analysis. The services fall under NAICS code 541380 (Testing Laboratories and Services) and PSC category F103 (Environmental Systems Protection- Water Quality Support), indicating specialized environmental testing capabilities will be required. The contractor must perform all work to the standards specified in the contract, with the government providing only specifically designated furnished property and services. The solicitation was posted on September 18, 2025, with responses due by September 22, 2025, providing a very short four-day response window.

This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to small business concerns only. The solicitation notice does not specify any incumbent contractors, award values, budget ranges, or detailed quantities of services required. No specific timeline for service delivery is provided in the available information, though the nature of water quality monitoring typically involves ongoing or recurring testing activities. The place of performance is clearly identified as Benbrook Lake, located within the Trinity Region under the jurisdiction of the Fort Worth Engineering District. The compressed timeline between posting and due date suggests this may be an urgent requirement or a simplified acquisition process.
