The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is soliciting quotes for tree harvesting and transportation services.
The predominant purpose of this project is to acquire Emerald Ash Borer Beetles (EAB) from harvested infested trees in order to maintain EAB biological control production.
Work involves harvesting marked EAB infested trees located in within the counties of Fond Du Lac, Washington, and Waukesha in the state of Wisconsin; bucking the whole trees into sections of approximately 20 inches; and transporting the material to Government facilities in Howell, Michigan and Brighton, Michigan.
