About this opportunity
Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal is conducting a market survey to assess contractor interest and capability for manufacturing the Traverse & Elevation Assembly (NSN 1005-01-1520, PN 13046600), with responses due by August 13, 2026. The procurement carries a total small business set-aside. Suppliers must submit capability statements via email to Richard Hall (Richard.G.Hall64.civ@army.mil) indicating manufacturing capacity; telephone responses will not be accepted. This market survey is not a solicitation and does not constitute a government commitment.
The survey collects vendor profile data including CAGE code, business classification (8(a) small disadvantaged, HUBZone, women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, or large business), and SAM.gov small business verification. Respondents must indicate whether they hold a current DD 2345 Military Critical Technical Data Agreement certification, required to access the restricted Technical Data Package (distribution code D, limited to DoD and DoD contractors). The survey requests manufacturing experience with the traverse & elevation assembly, production location, first article testing capability, production lead time, monthly production rates (minimum, normal, and maximum sustainable), current unit pricing, quality management certifications, commercial availability, minimum order quantities, and quantity discounts. Proprietary or confidential information must be clearly marked with appropriate restrictive legends; respondents must provide a release statement authorizing distribution to Army personnel evaluating the survey. This market research supports FAR 15.201(e) planning and identifies potential offerors for future procurement action under NAICS 332994 (Small Arms, Ordnance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing).
