The agency intends to conduct sole source negotiations under FAR 6.302-1 authority, though all responsible sources may express interest and capability within 45 days of publication (or 30 days if awarded under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement). Interested parties can obtain the necessary military specifications, QPLs, and other technical documentation through the DoD Single Stock Point or the ASSIST-Online system. The procurement falls under NAICS code 334513 for instruments and related products manufacturing and PSC 6685 for pressure, temperature, and humidity measuring instruments.

No incumbent contractors or potential awardees are identified in the documentation. The notice does not provide specific contract values or budget ranges for this procurement. The delivery terms specify FOB origin, with a quantity requirement of exactly 88 units of the specified pressure transmitter components. Technical data package version 007 will govern the specifications, and the procurement timeline allows for a 45-day response period for capability statements or proposals, though the government reserves the right to proceed with sole source negotiations based on their market research and justification.
