About this opportunity
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia intends to solicit L3HARRIS MARITIME POWER under sole-source authority (FAR 6.302-1) for repair of 12 transformer assemblies (NSN 015353560, P/N 600-38055) with a response deadline of October 26, 2026. The Government does not possess or cannot provide the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture, justifying the sole-source approach.
Work includes labor, material, and facilities required to repair the items as specified, with delivery FOB origin. The transformer assemblies are electrostatic discharge sensitive and subject to the Buy American Act. The NAICS code is 334416. The Government has determined through market research that the item type customarily available in the commercial marketplace meets the definition of a commercial item under FAR Subpart 2.1; the contracting officer will solicit and award using FAR Part 12 policies and procedures.
This is a sources-sought notice open to all responsible sources. The Government will consider all capability statements and proposals received within 7 days of publication. A determination not to compete remains solely within the Government's discretion. Source approval is required; the Government will not delay award pending approval of a new source. Prospective contractors not yet approved sources must submit source-approval information per the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure.
