About this opportunity
The US Coast Guard issued a notice of intent to award a sole-source purchase order to York County for radio service and maintenance over an 800 MHz system at Training Center Yorktown, with capability statements due May 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The Coast Guard has determined that only one source is available to meet this requirement due to items particular to one manufacturer; market research indicates other companies' similar products, or products lacking the particular feature, do not meet or cannot be modified to meet the agency's needs. The Coast Guard will use simplified acquisition procedures under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The scope includes over-the-air radio service and maintenance for the facility. Any party believing they can perform this requirement may submit a capability statement by the May 6 deadline. The government will consider information received solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding. Responses and questions should be directed to Ronette Rhoden at ronette.n.rhoden@uscg.mil. A Statement of Work is attached to the notice.
