About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a delivery order for Tomahawk Integrated Firing Unit (IFU) Mitigation of Obsolete Components and Production Restart under existing Basic Ordering Agreement N0001925G0009. The procurement involves non-recurring engineering to restart the IFU production line, build and test qualification units, perform acceptance tests, update technical data packages, and deliver IFU production hardware for the Tomahawk missile system. This notice indicates the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302 authority, though all responsible sources may submit capability statements for consideration. The data associated with the Tomahawk Missile is export controlled and unavailable to foreign sources or representatives. Responses to this pre-solicitation notice are due by July 9, 2025, and should be submitted via email to Shondra Stoner at shondra.l.stoner.civ@us.navy.mil.
This opportunity carries no set-aside designation and NAVAIR intends to award the contract to Raytheon Company, located in Tucson, Arizona, as the sole source contractor. The anticipated period of performance spans 36 months from contract award. Small businesses interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Jarrod Winters at Raytheon at (520) 777-2697 or jarrord.winters@rtx.com. The procurement falls under NAICS code 336414 for Guided Missile and Space Vehicle Manufacturing and PSC code 1410 for Guided Missiles. No specific contract value or quantity details are provided in this pre-solicitation notice. The three-year timeline reflects the complex nature of restarting production capabilities for critical missile system components.
