About this opportunity
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute has issued a Special Notice for a Pediatric Proton and Photon Therapy Comparison Cohort Coordinating Center contract. The objectives of this contract are to coordinate and monitor the collection of data from multiple hospital centers treating pediatric cancer patients with proton or photon therapy, maintain access to data platforms used by the existing Pediatric Proton Consortium Registry, and provide technical assistance to centers to facilitate the required data collection.
This is a sole source acquisition, with Massachusetts General Hospital identified as the only qualified contractor due to their experience managing the Pediatric Proton Consortium Registry. No solicitation has been issued yet, but any interested parties, especially small businesses, may submit capability statements by the May 2, 2024 deadline for consideration. The contract is anticipated to be a 24-month firm fixed price award, with a 12-month base period and a 12-month option year. The contractor will be required to submit quarterly progress reports, a final report, and a de-identified patient data set upon completion of the project.
