About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy's Naval Air Systems Command intends to solicit maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for TF34-100A Engine Main Fuel Control components from Woodward, Inc. The scope of work includes supporting the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast's (FRCSE) industrial facility that reworks, repairs, and overhauls the TF34-100A Engine for the United States Air Force. The FRCSE does not have the in-house capability to perform Main Fuel Control (MFC) overhauls, and therefore requires Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) assistance. This contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Woodward, Inc. as the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the MFC, and the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical expertise to repair the component.
This procurement is not set-aside, and the place of performance will be in Loves Park, Illinois. Potential subcontracting opportunities should be directed to Mr. Jeff Greene at Woodward, Inc. The solicitation will be issued through a combined synopsis/solicitation, and proposals are due by May 24, 2024.
