About this opportunity
The Department of the Army, on behalf of Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires, is issuing a Request for Information by November 15, 2026, to identify sources capable of providing specialized engineering, modeling, simulation, and software support for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Project Office in support of the AN/TPY-2 Terminal Mode.
The RFI seeks contractor capability to develop, integrate, and test THAAD Modeling and Simulation products. Deliverables include software products for the AN/TPY-2 Terminal Mode (incremental development releases, Engineering Releases, and Final Releases), updated software documentation with red-lined versions, on-site integration support, and resolution of observations during all phases of development, integration, and ongoing system testing.
Interested sources must submit a Capabilities Statement up to five pages per each of four major tasks. The Government states that a determination not to compete based on RFI responses remains solely within Government discretion. This is a sources-sought inquiry; responses are not quotes and do not obligate the Government to issue a formal solicitation.
Respondents must provide company name, address, point of contact information, phone and fax numbers, email, DUNS number, CAGE code, and business size and classification (including Large Business, Small Business, 8(a), Woman-Owned, EDWOSB, HUBZone, Veteran-Owned, or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned status).
No set-aside is anticipated. NAICS 541330 (Engineering Services); PSC J014 (Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment – Guided Missiles).
