About this opportunity

Air Combat Command is conducting market research to identify sources and obtain rough order of magnitude cost estimates for the lease, installation, and removal of temporary fabric aircraft hangars at Mountain Home Air Force Base, with responses due July 31, 2026. No set-aside applies. Performance is anticipated to begin on or about September 2027 for a two-month operational period.

The government requires temporary hangar structures capable of housing and protecting approximately two F-15 aircraft, plus one additional temporary hangar approximately 50 feet by 50 feet. Full turnkey support is required, including delivery, on-site installation and assembly, and complete disassembly and removal upon lease expiration. Prospective contractors must provide non-binding cost estimates broken down into three components: mobilization, delivery, and installation; monthly lease or rental rate for the two-month duration; and disassembly, removal, and demobilization. Interested vendors should confirm capability to deliver, install, and remove structures meeting the specified dimensions and timeline constraints. This market research phase precedes formal solicitation; no award timeline has been provided.
