About this opportunity

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking to procure a single Aircraft Tank Assembly (NSN 7R-1680-015685625-V2) through a sole source acquisition from Robertson Fuel Systems. The contract involves purchasing one Tank Assembly, Aircraft with part number HM032-410-21, which will be delivered FOB Origin. The government intends to negotiate with only one responsible source, citing 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as the source authority, and will use provisions from FAR Part 13 and Part 15 for the procurement. Interested organizations have 15 days from the March 14, 2024 posting date to submit their capabilities and qualifications directly to Jessica.p.laychock.civ@us.navy.mil. The solicitation will be electronically posted to NECO, with no telephone requests or hard copy mailings accepted.

This is not a small business set-aside procurement, and the government has determined Robertson Fuel Systems is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and only known source for this specific tank assembly. While other firms can submit capability statements, they must first complete a Source Approval Request (SAR) if not already pre-approved, though the procurement will not be delayed pending SAR approval. The anticipated contract award is scheduled for June 2024, with the procurement falling under NAICS code 336413 and Product Service Code 1680 for miscellaneous aircraft accessories and components. The total quantity requested is one unit, and electronic procedures will be exclusively used throughout the solicitation process. Interested parties must demonstrate their manufacturing capabilities and meet the specific technical requirements for this highly specialized aircraft component.
