About this opportunity
The New Hampshire Air National Guard, under the Department of the Army, is conducting a sources sought inquiry for a wearable tactical training system to enhance security forces training capabilities. This is not a solicitation but rather a market research effort to identify qualified sources and determine appropriate procurement methodology for a comprehensive training system that includes tactical vests with physical feedback mechanisms, simulated weapons mimicking the M18 pistol and M4 carbine, and supporting equipment across nine contract line items (CLINs). The system must provide safe, adjustable shock or vibration feedback when sensors detect laser pulse hits from training firearms, creating realistic stress conditions without projectile injury risks. Interested parties must demonstrate their capability to provide supplies meeting the specified characteristics and submit detailed company information including business size classification, manufacturer/distributor status, GSA contract details, and technical product descriptions. The response deadline is July 31, 2025, with submissions required via email to the Contracting Officer and Contracting Specialist.
This procurement does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all business sizes under NAICS code 33999 (All Other Miscellaneous Manufacturing). The government is seeking information about various business classifications including Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, HubZone, Woman Owned Small Business, 8(a), and Large Business designations. The system components span nine CLINs including the core StressVest system, Storm 3075 carrying cases for up to eight vests, face sensor ball caps, recoil-enabled M18 pistol simulators, CO2 magazines, handheld laser activators, 10-port USB charging hubs, camera systems, and CO2 cartridges in 300-count quantities. No specific contract values or award amounts are disclosed in this sources sought notice, as the government is using responses to determine procurement methodology and potential solicitation structure.
