About this opportunity
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division in Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Honeywell International Inc. for the procurement of components necessary to assemble the T-45 BSCTS Alignment Set in support of the T-45 program. The components include Load Cell P/N 060-J935-10, Model SC2000 Order Code AE601QC, D1, D2, D3, D4 and Model SC2000 AE601, b1, d1, which are transducer/indicators with high level current input and current output. Responses to this pre-solicitation notice must be received by November 17, 2023.
This requirement is being conducted with no set-aside and is being pursued under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 for procurements where there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services are suitable. Interested parties must be registered in SAM and responses are limited to ten pages. Submittal of questions is not permitted under this notice.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Honeywell International Inc. (CAGE: 51518) for the procurement of the components necessary to assemble the transfer standard, which can also be called the “T-45 BSCTS Alignment Set” (P/N: 4299AS0330-1) in support of the T-45 Program. The support equipment being procured is Load Cell P/N 060-J935-10, Model SC2000 Order Code AE601QC,D1,D2,D3,D4 (transducer/indicator with four high level current input with current output) and Model SC2000 AE601,b1,d1 (transducer/indicator for high level current input with current output).
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice via email no later than 17 November 2023 at 3:00 P.M. EDT to Daniel O'Donnell at daniel.p.odonnell17.civ@us.navy.mil.
