About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Orlando (ACC-Orlando), on behalf of the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), has issued a Special Notice regarding the Synthetic Training Environment (STE) Next Generation Constructive (NGC) effort. This notification aims to provide industry with pertinent information about the NGC effort and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to solicit industry feedback through a Request for Information (RFI) to inform the development of the NGC, which seeks to deliver an initial division-level low overhead constructive training capability by the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026. Key details include an NGC Industry Day on March 13, 2024 where PEO STRI will provide overviews of STE and NGC, and the RFI process. Interested parties must register by March 11, 2024 and submit a security vetting form for approval to attend. The Government also anticipates releasing technical data post-Industry Day through the DOD Safe site, for which interested vendors must sign a distribution agreement.
