About this opportunity

NASA Ames Research Center has issued a Limited/Sole Source Justification Notice for the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contract (80ARC025D0007) to Aloft Sensing, Inc. for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) sensors and related data services. The contract, awarded on July 9, 2025, supports Air Force Research Laboratory remote sensing missions using specialized X-Band SAR payload integration into the Prismatic PHASA-35 High-Altitude Long-Endurance platform. The sole source justification is based on Aloft Sensing's unique proprietary technology that meets specific technical requirements including a 30-pound payload weight limit, 200-watt power constraint, and sub-meter resolution capabilities that seamlessly integrate with the PHASA-35's proprietary avionics. The contract has a five-year ordering period from July 11, 2025, through April 17, 2030, with a minimum guaranteed quantity of $10,000 and a maximum order limitation of $5,000,000. The awarded services include ground and flight testing, flight operations support, real-time telemetry, and high-resolution Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance data delivery for the specialized HALE platform missions.
