About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation (DLA Aviation) is seeking to procure Depot Level Repairables (DLRs) for the KC-46 Pegasus Military Unique DLR effort through an option year and increment one contract. The procurement will cover a total of 68 National Item Identification Numbers (NIINs)/items, with the contract to be awarded against the Boeing Captains of Industry (BCOI) contract. The primary objectives include wholesale supply support, depot-level consumable support, material management, and sustaining engineering for various Boeing aviation platforms. The contract will be awarded under FAR 6.302-1 authority, with Boeing required to fill Department of Defense customer requisitions for specific Stock Numbers in the market basket. The solicitation was posted on May 17, 2023, with a due date of February 5, 2025, indicating a significant timeline for potential contractors to prepare and respond.

The pre-solicitation notice does not indicate a specific set-aside for small businesses or disadvantaged vendors. The incumbent and anticipated contractor is The Boeing Company, with a cage code of 0PXV4, located in Saint Louis, Missouri. While specific award values are not explicitly stated, the contract is part of a strategic supply chain management program supporting multiple aviation platforms including AV-8B, C-17, CH-37, F/A-18, F-15, KC-135, B-52, B-1, E-3, AGM-84/86, P-8, and KC-46. The original contract (SPRPA121D9002) was awarded on December 18, 2021, with a base period of three years and two potential one-year option periods. The current pre-solicitation covers Option Year One and Increment One, suggesting a continuation and expansion of the existing contractual framework for military unique depot-level repairable items.
