About this opportunity

The Air Force Test Center Contracting Directorate (AFTC/PZZF) at Edwards Air Force Base, California has published a Synopsis of Contract Action (SOCA) for the acquisition of Omega NExT Telemetry Decommutator Software. This special notice, designated F1S0AY5202A001, announces the government's intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to Parraid LLC of Hollywood, Maryland. The contract will be issued under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) authority for one OMEGA NExT Professional Software License Bundle that provides real-time IRIG 106-24, Chapter 7 telemetry decommutation capability. The software is specifically required to interface with and decode telemetry streams using the government's existing TTC DBS-140 USB-based hardware infrastructure. The posting date was September 5, 2025, with an original response date of September 8, 2025.

The purpose of this SOCA is to provide advance notice of the government's procurement intentions rather than to solicit competitive proposals, as this is not a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid. The acquisition requires delivery within 30 days after award to Edwards Air Force Base, California, and falls under NAICS code 541512 for Computer Systems Design Services and PSC code 7A20 for IT and Telecom Application Development Software. Since this is a sole source procurement directed specifically to Parraid LLC, no competitive eligibility criteria apply to other contractors. The notice explicitly states that it does not constitute a government commitment to proceed with the procurement and that no reimbursement will be provided for costs associated with responding to this synopsis. The software bundle includes multiple components such as OMEGA NExT Professional, Focus, Insight, Origin, and unlimited Clarity and Clarity Builder licenses to support the Air Force's telemetry processing requirements.
