About this opportunity
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), an agency within the Department of the Navy, is seeking eligible contractors to evaluate, repair, and/or modify pumping equipment identified by NIIN 014092659. This sole-source procurement is being pursued under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, indicating the Government's intent to negotiate with only one source due to insufficient data available to perform the required repairs or manufacturing in-house. Interested contractors must submit capability statements demonstrating their capacity to perform the necessary repair and modification work. The Government will consider all responses received within 15 days of the notice publication (by April 29, 2026), though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and competition is not anticipated. All responsible sources are encouraged to identify their interest and submit documentation outlining their qualifications and technical capabilities to perform this work.
This opportunity carries no small business set-aside designation and is not subject to Free Trade Agreements Act or World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement restrictions due to the sole-source nature of the acquisition. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the notice. Non-approved sources must submit source approval documentation along with their capability statements, and interested contractors should reference the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair available at the Naval Supply Systems Command website for detailed submission requirements. The Government will not delay award pending source approval, as the typical approval timeline may extend beyond the contract award decision. All inquiries and submissions should be directed to Kevin Bilous, Contract Specialist, at kevin.c.bilous.civ@us.navy.mil.
