About this opportunity
This pre-solicitation notice announces the Department of Agriculture Forest Service's intent to use an existing Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to solicit and award a BPA call for stream restoration services on the Malheur National Forest. The contractor will be required to tip over and/or cut trees that will be placed into streams to help with fish habitat, increase floodplain connectivity, reduce wildfire severity and fuels loading, and increase riparian shrub diversity and vigor. This will be a competitive request for quotes, with only current BPA holders eligible to respond. The proposed solicitation number is #1240BE24Q0057, with a closing response date of 04/15/2024 and an anticipated award date of 04/18/2024.
The requirement is set aside for small businesses, and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 115310 for Support Activities for Forestry. The contracting office is Procurement and Property Services CSA #3 in Prineville, OR. No details are provided on the potential value or budget for this requirement, but it is being awarded under an existing BPA vehicle, FERM 2.0, suggesting the contractor must be a current holder of that agreement.
