About this opportunity

The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Hood is seeking multiple award task order contracts (MATOCs) for Agricultural Sanitation (AGSAN) services to support III Armored Corps equipment preparation for foreign customs inspections. The primary objective is to ensure military unit equipment meets international agricultural and customs standards through comprehensive sanitization and waste management processes. Contractors will be required to disinfect equipment using specific chemical solutions, maintain HAZMAT certification, and comply with environmental regulations across multiple military installations and ports. The government plans to solicit the requirement in mid-April 2025, with performance anticipated to begin in late-May 2025. Evaluation criteria and specific details will be outlined in the forthcoming solicitation, with proposals due by April 15, 2025.

The contract is set aside for Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) participants and will award up to five multiple award task order contracts across eleven potential locations, including military bases in Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and South Carolina, as well as ports in Texas and Washington. While specific award values are not disclosed, the contract will cover sanitization services at installations such as Fort Cavazos, Fort Bliss, Fort Carson, Fort Riley, and Fort Sill. Contractors must demonstrate the capability to set up required equipment in designated locations, handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal, and meet all safety and environmental requirements. The performance period will involve disinfecting military equipment with a minimum 10-minute chemical contact time after pre-washing, ensuring compliance with host nation environmental standards.
