About this opportunity

The Special Notice outlines USAID's intent to modify the existing Nigeria Agricultural Extension and Advisory Services contract to extend the completion date from May 24, 2025, to November 30, 2026, and to increase the total estimated cost by $2,448,000.00. The purpose of this modification is to provide continued technical support to the Government of Nigeria (GoN) to integrate a more sustainable private sector extension delivery approach in Nigeria's agriculture and expand the private sector-led extension service model to new zones of influence.

The proposed scope expansion aims to lay the critical foundational market system infrastructure for a broader food basket activity, improve agri-food systems, and promote inclusive agriculture-based economic growth. There is no set-aside for this contract modification, and the published opportunity does not specify any eligibility criteria or key deadlines for contractors. However, it does indicate that the modified contract will provide continued support to the GoN's efforts to integrate sustainable private sector extension services in Nigeria's agricultural sector.
