About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure repair services and replacement components for multiple electronic systems including the DTS, TAMMAC, FCNS-16, and FCNS-24 programs. The government intends to negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, though this pre-solicitation notice invites all responsible sources to identify their interest and capability to respond. The contract will involve the supply of various electronic components and modules, with lead times for readiness to test and accept (RTAT) ranging from 54 to 565 days depending on the specific item. While this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, the government will use responses to evaluate whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties must submit their capability statements and expressions of interest by the April 30, 2026 deadline.
The procurement is not using any set-aside designations. The contract encompasses 11 line items across two product categories: A-series items including fiber optic switches, IEP modules, GPP modules, and target processors with annual quantities ranging from 4 to 48 units and replacement prices between $35,676 and $326,123; and B-series items consisting primarily of digital computers with variants having annual quantities ranging from 1 to 86 units and replacement prices between $40,630 and $70,881. All items maintain consistent quantity requirements across a five-year contract period, with estimated total values potentially reaching several million dollars depending on actual procurement volumes. The work falls within the Communications Equipment Manufacturing industry (NAICS 334290) and Miscellaneous Communication Equipment product service code (5895).
