About this opportunity

The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) has published a Special Notice for a bridge contract to support its Case Processing Operations Center (CPOC). The notice announces DCSA's intention to award a sole source bridge contract to the incumbent contractor, ASRC Federal Professional Services, LLC, to provide uninterrupted support services for Initial Vetting Operations. This bridge contract is classified as a Total Small Business set-aside and was posted on January 9, 2026, with a response deadline of January 23, 2026. The bridge contract will sustain mission-critical background investigation processing functions that are essential to personnel vetting operations. While ASRC Federal Professional Services, LLC is the selected contractor based on their incumbent status and demonstrated expertise, DCSA has indicated that other interested firms may also be considered.

The primary objective of this bridge contract is to maintain continuity of critical Case Processing Operations Center services and prevent any disruption to ongoing background investigation activities during the transition period until a competitive follow-on contract can be awarded. Interested contractors must submit expressions of interest within 15 calendar days of the notice publication date and must clearly demonstrate their technical and operational capabilities to fulfill all stated requirements. Eligibility is limited to small business concerns, as indicated by the Total Small Business set-aside designation. The bridge contract represents a temporary measure designed to ensure seamless operations, maintain service levels, and preserve program momentum while the government prepares for a competitive procurement process. The government reserves discretion in evaluating responses and has stated that the information provided is anticipatory in nature and not legally binding.

Notice text
