About this opportunity

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole-source, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract with General Dynamics Mission Systems for sustainment of the Mobile User Objective System Ground System. This will include hardware and software improvements, updates, and engineering changes. The contract is justified under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 as General Dynamics is the only responsible source possessing the required design knowledge and expertise to modify and sustain the system without unacceptable delays. Responses to this pre-solicitation notice are due by April 16, 2018.

The contract is not set aside and will be awarded as a hybrid of firm-fixed price and cost-reimbursement contract line items. Individual task orders will be issued over a five year base period and five one-year options using the applicable contract line items. The total value is unspecified but the contract is for sustainment of an existing system. The primary NAICS code is 541511 and PSC code is D302. Jeffrey McCoy is the contracting officer and questions should be directed to contract specialist Bohdan Brozino by email or phone.
