About this opportunity

NASA/GRC is seeking to procure services related to maintaining the existing automated build and test environment, secure code distribution servers, and support services for the NASA Delay Tolerant Network (DTN) code base known as Interplanetary Overlay Network (ION) from Ohio University. Interested parties may submit capabilities and qualifications in writing by July 14, 2020 to be evaluated solely to determine whether this will be conducted as a competitive procurement. Ohio University has provided these services for over 10 years under previous contracts and grants and has expertise with the ION implementation.

There is no set-aside designated for this potential procurement. Ohio University is identified as the potential incumbent and current contractor due to their experience over the past 10 years working with the ION code base under previous contracts and grants totaling over $1 million. The effort is exclusively for services to maintain the existing infrastructure and provide support through July 31, 2021. NASA must maintain the relationship with Ohio University because of their unique expertise in the ION implementation.
