About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking support for turbine nozzles through a pre-solicitation notice for contract SPRTA1-25-Q-0304. This procurement falls under the Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing (NAICS 336412) category and specifically targets gas turbine and jet engine components. The solicitation will be available on the SAM.gov website, with potential offerors encouraged to submit offers electronically via email. The requirement is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, which provides flexibility in the procurement process. Interested vendors should carefully review the full solicitation package when it becomes available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) website.

The contract opportunity does not have a specific set-aside designation, indicating it is open to all qualified vendors. While the exact award value is not specified, the procurement is structured to remain below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, suggesting a relatively modest contract scope. The solicitation is time-sensitive, with the pre-solicitation notice posted on April 24, 2025, and responses due by April 25, 2025. The procurement is focused on technical components for aircraft engines, specifically turbine nozzles, which implies a need for specialized manufacturing capabilities in the aerospace and defense sector. Potential vendors should be prepared to demonstrate expertise in producing high-precision engine components and comply with the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation's technical and quality requirements.
