About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure a support bell crank component through solicitation number SPRTA1-26-Q-0024. This procurement falls under the Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing NAICS category (336412) and involves miscellaneous power transmission equipment (PSC 3040). The contract value is expected to remain below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, allowing the agency to waive the standard synopsis requirement under FAR 5.202(a)(13). The complete solicitation package will be available for review on SAM.gov, with potential offerors encouraged to submit their proposals electronically via email to the address specified in the solicitation. The due date for submissions is November 10, 2025, with the pre-solicitation notice posted on October 9, 2025.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it open to all qualified contractors. The notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide specific award value ranges, though it confirms the total contract value will not exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, which is currently $250,000 for most federal acquisitions. No specific quantities or performance timelines are detailed in the pre-solicitation notice. The procurement process will be conducted entirely through electronic means, with the government leveraging the SAM.gov platform for solicitation distribution and email for proposal submissions. The streamlined approach reflects the relatively straightforward nature of this aircraft component procurement.

Notice text

This requirement is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The solicitation will be available for review on the Sam website (https://sam.gov). Potential offerors are encouraged to submit offers via email to the address listed on the solicitation.

Therefore IAW with FAR part 5.202(a)(13), exception:
(i) Is for an amount not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold;
