Red River Army Depot has a requirement for the following: one (1) each Submersion/Agitation Dip tank System that will be comprised of two (2) each Submersion / Agitation style cleaning Dip Tanks System. The system shall be used to submerge and agitate the engine blocks and heads so that any grease, sludge, foreign particles are flushed out of the internal ports of the heads and blocks. The system must be able to submerge & agitate the following engine blocks and heads at a minimum, Caterpillar C-7, C-15, C18; Detroit 8V and 60 series; Cummins 903, 8.3L, 6.7L; GM 6.5L; and International 9.3L.
Contractor shall provide most current production model of the submersion and agitation dip tanks. A current production model is defined as the manufacturer's current production model which, on the date this solicitation is issued, has been designed, engineered and sold or is being offered for sale through advertisements or manufacturer's published catalog or brochures. Products such as a prototype unit, pre-production model, or experimental unit do not qualify as meeting the requirements specified herein.
Contractor shall install, furnish manuals required for equipment, and assist with training and make sure equipment is fully functional for RRAD incumbent staff to utilize.
