About this opportunity

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) is seeking information and input from U.S. and non-U.S. non-profit or for-profit Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to inform a future activity focused on strengthening the global humanitarian protection workforce. The RFI aims to gather ideas, strategies, and capability statements on how to improve the delivery of humanitarian protection sector services, particularly as crises escalate and complex emergencies increase globally. USAID is requesting input on topics such as scaling up the protection workforce, required qualifications, competency gaps, leveraging underutilized workforce pools, and engaging the social services workforce. Respondents are asked to provide a capabilities statement, and the RFI has a closing date of September 30, 2024.

This RFI does not have a set-aside designation, and USAID has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors. The agency has also not provided any information on potential award values or budget ranges. Additionally, the RFI does not specify the quantity of goods or timeline for services, as it is focused on gathering information to inform a future activity rather than issuing a solicitation for immediate procurement.
