About this opportunity
The Department of the Treasury Bureau of the Fiscal Service has issued a sole source justification notice for strategic planning report services with Rane Network Inc., a small business, to support the Denali Commission's critical Arctic and infrastructure initiatives. The contract requires the delivery of seven strategic reports covering topics such as Arctic strategy, infrastructure resilience, energy security, technology innovation, and tribal partnerships, with initial reports due by January 15 and subsequent reports delivered every 30-45 days over a one-year performance period. The contractor will attend weekly one-hour strategic planning sessions and provide analysis on dual-use infrastructure, bulk fuel programs, transportation systems, and emerging technologies like AI and broadband. The urgent and compelling justification stems from imminent leadership transitions at the Denali Commission and critical upcoming meetings with the Administration and Congress scheduled for March 25-26, which necessitate rapid development of strategic reports to address billions in unmet needs for rural Alaska communities. While the exact contract value was not explicitly stated, the contract (number 20342925P00001) was awarded on December 18, 2024, under the NAICS category 519290 for Web Search Portals and All Other Information Services.
