About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command anticipates soliciting a total small business set-aside for strainer element components (NSN 1H-4730-015849326-X3) with a response deadline of November 12, 2026. The procurement is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns under FAR clause 52.219-6; the solicitation will designate the specific set-aside category through one of the following clauses: HUBZone set-aside or sole source award, service-disabled veteran-owned small business set-aside, economically disadvantaged women-owned small business set-aside, women-owned small business set-aside, or historically black college or university and minority institution set-aside.

The requirement calls for delivery of 14 units to two Defense Logistics Agency distribution centers: New Cumberland, Pennsylvania (W25G1U) and San Joaquin, Tracy, California (W62G2T). The government possesses complete technical data package rights; the data package is complete with no restrictions on technical data, engineering, tooling, or manufacturing. This completeness qualifies the acquisition as a candidate for full and open competition.

Interested parties may obtain military and federal specifications, standards, qualified products lists, and related documents from the DoD Single Stock Point at the Document Automation and Production Service (DAPS) in Philadelphia. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format through ASSIST-Online at http://quicksearch.dla.mil/.
