About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring fluid valves classified under PSC 4820 (Valves, Nonpowered). The acquisition involves the procurement of nonpowered fluid valve components identified by NSN 1H-4820-015350039-C1 according to technical data package version 007. The Government possesses complete technical data rights with no restrictions on engineering, tooling, or manufacturing, which positions this requirement as eligible for full and open competition. The solicitation is expected to be issued, with proposals due by December 18, 2025. Interested parties should note the pre-solicitation posting date of August 5, 2025, and should monitor for the formal solicitation release to understand specific evaluation criteria and proposal requirements.
This acquisition is designated as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside, restricting competition to small business concerns as defined under FAR clause 52.219-6. The specific type of small business set-aside—whether HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned, Women-Owned, or Historically Black College or University/Minority Institution—will be determined and included in the formal solicitation. The Government requires delivery of 120 units to the DLA Distribution Center in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Additional specifications and standards applicable to this procurement can be accessed through the DoD Single Stock Point and ASSIST-Online database. Prospective bidders should obtain relevant Military and Federal Specifications, Qualified Products Lists, and other standardized documents to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
