About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is procuring a single Stator Holding Ring (part number SCHEDA-EN-SHR) with a 700 mm outer diameter and maximum clamping weight of 600 kg for naval shipyard operations. The equipment must be a current commercially available model constructed of new parts without defects, featuring a 360-degree rotatable cage and heavy-duty steel construction capable of supporting up to 1,300 pounds while complying with NFPA 79 electrical standards. Vendors must submit manufacturer specifications with their bids and ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity requirements unless the item qualifies as Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS). The solicitation requires a signed and completed response submitted via email or fax to be considered responsive, with specific attention to clause 52.204-24 requirements. The quote submission deadline is July 16, 2025, providing contractors with an extremely tight one-day response window.

This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting participation to qualifying small business enterprises. The contract requires delivery by July 31, 2025, to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington, allowing approximately two weeks for fulfillment after award. The solicitation does not specify the contract value or identify any incumbent contractors, though it emphasizes the need for the equipment to withstand operational forces without distortion in a demanding naval environment. The procurement falls under NAICS code 334519 for Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing and PSC code 6110 for Electrical Control Equipment. All submissions and amendments will be managed through the SAM.gov electronic system, with the contracting officer Kelli Monaco available for questions at the provided contact information.
