About this opportunity
Naval Supply Systems Command intends to solicit a sole-source contract for a reducing station (NSN 3H-4820-015714038-C1) with a response deadline of September 14, 2026. The Government has determined that data acquisition and reverse engineering are uneconomical; only the incumbent source possesses the technical data required to manufacture or repair this part.
Delivery is required to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine. The Government will accept capability statements and proposals from all responsible sources within 45 days, though the stated intent is to negotiate with a single source under FAR 6.302-1. Proposals received beyond the 45-day window will not be considered unless award is issued under an existing Basic Order, which would trigger a 30-day response window instead.
The requirement is classified as Valves, Nonpowered (PSC 4820).
