About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency is procuring a 2.5GB commercial circuit for intra-Southwest Asia telecommunications services through a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This restricted access requirement is available only to entities registered under NAICS code 517111 (Wired Telecommunications Carriers), with access requests requiring UEI or CAGE codes for verification. The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) without a separate written solicitation, and quoted prices must include monthly recurring charges (MRC), non-recurring charges (NRC), and applicable tier pricing. The procurement will utilize the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) source selection process for evaluation. The solicitation was posted on July 16, 2025, with quotes due by August 15, 2025.

This procurement does not include any small business set-aside designation, making it a full and open competition among qualified telecommunications providers. The solicitation document does not specify any incumbent contractors or potential award values, though it requires compliance with standard FAR commercial item terms and conditions as outlined in existing basic agreements. The specific service date and acceptance criteria are detailed in the attached RFQ document, but these particulars are not disclosed in the public synopsis. The telecommunications circuit will serve the Southwest Asia region, though the exact place of performance locations are not specified in this notice. Providers must demonstrate technical acceptability while competing primarily on price under the LPTA evaluation methodology.
